Maloof Money Cup Recap
Well just had a epic weekend in over populated southern California, The Jibyard was down there repin' hard at the Maloof Money Cup, the sickest event in skateboarding. All the pro's were throwing down for $100,000 so they wernt heasitating to pull some tricks out of their....sleeve. Skully Candy riders Adam Dyet and Lizard King both made it to semi-finals but didnt advance from there, Dyet did win the best trick contest for $10,000 so he was pretty stoked. Chris Cole ended up taking the cake.(wonder what he's gonna do with 100,000K). Satuday night we checked out the Blazed and Confused Tour featuring the the music abilities of Mikey Avalon, Steven Marley, Snoop Dogg, and Slightly Stoopid. Kicked it with the Stoopid boys after there set, what a great bunch of guys. Also The Jibyard is having a Summer Contest Series, starting this saturday July 18th. Stay tuned for more info on that. Now time for the good stuff...

Maloof Money Cup: Day 1
Just landed in the L.B.C., stomping grounds to the infamous SNOOP DOG! and sublime. Why am i in the great state of california you ask? Welp got asked to come here with Skull Candy (jibyard affiliate) for the Maloof Money Cup (http://www.allisports.com/news/maloof-money-cup-2009-worlds-largest-skateboarding-championship-turns-two) probably the most baller skate comp in history, and why is somebody who works in the ski and snowboard industry at a skateboard comp? well because sometimes it dosent hurt to branch out and explore other industries and get ideas, and meet the right people. Help'd famous 4bi9'er Tom Wallisch film a "day in the life of" for MTVduce yesterday and now here, what a great way to start the weekend. Many great things planned and im gonna keep ya'll updated throughout all my "activites".

4bi9 Brings the Roof Down!!!
4bi9 made the short but long (due to traffic and freak rain storm) trip from S.L.C. to The Jibyard yesterday so shoot a edit. A.J. Dakoulas, Tim Zillaman Maney, Dave Euler, Rich Fahey, and Slick Nicky Keefer all joined in on the fun. Zillaman unfortunately ripped out his heel piece so his fun got cut short, but they still managed to get some banger shots. I snapped some photos for ya'll to see. Also check out there new trailer SO FAR SO HOOD comin to a ski shop near you this fall! http://www.newschoolers.com/web/content/viewvideo/id/278245/search_string/So+Far+So+Hood/

Thanks Ian!!!
So a few days ago Ian Matteson( http://www.ianmattesonphoto.com/) the good man he is, ventured his way on up here to ogden to take some photos of the JibYard for our web site http://www.thejibyard.com/. He incounterd some vehiclar troubles on the way(damn german engineering) but still managed to make it. He had to do some things that that he's not very proud of, but none the less made it here. A very nice young man named Ian Wade (http://www.tallandsmallliving.com/) joined him and these are some of the shots that he grabbed.
